Tyniy is a photo and video compression application designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your photos and videos are personal and should remain on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how Tyniy handles your data and protects your privacy.

Data Collection & Privacy

Tyniy is designed to operate with zero data collection:

• Zero data collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data
• No photo or video uploads: All photo and video compression happens locally on your device
• No user tracking: No analytics, tracking pixels, or behavioral monitoring
• No personal information: We don't collect names, emails, or device identifiers
• No third-party services: No external analytics or advertising networks

Photo & Video Processing

Your photos and videos never leave your device during compression:

• Local processing: All compression algorithms run entirely on your device
• Temporary storage: Compressed files are temporarily stored in your device's sandbox
• Original preservation: Your original photos and videos remain completely unchanged
• User control: You decide when to save, share, or delete compressed photos and videos
• Automatic cleanup: Temporary files are automatically removed after 24 hours
• Metadata preservation: EXIF/metadata and timestamps are maintained in compressed files

Device Permissions

Tyniy requests minimal permissions for core functionality:

• Photo Library Access: To import photos and videos for compression and save compressed results
• File System Access: To import photos and videos from Files app, external drives, and SD cards
• Documents Access: To export compressed photos and videos to your chosen locations

These permissions are used exclusively for photo and video compression workflows and never for data collection or tracking purposes.

In-App Purchases

Tyniy offers optional in-app purchases through Apple's StoreKit:

• Purchase processing: Handled entirely by Apple's secure payment system
• No payment data: We never see or store your payment information
• Receipt validation: Purchase verification happens locally on your device
• Restore purchases: Available through Apple's built-in restore mechanism

Apple may collect purchase data according to their own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Tyniy operates independently without external services:

• No analytics frameworks (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No advertising networks or tracking SDKs
• No social media integrations
• No crash reporting services that transmit data
• No cloud storage services

The only external interaction is Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

Tyniy does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age. The app operates with zero data collection, making it safe for users of all ages while complying with COPPA and similar regulations.

International Users

Tyniy's privacy-first design means:
